High Level of Confidence

Good morning to you!

We all make mistakes – mistakes that we regret; mistakes that haunt us; and mistakes that we never seem to let go. And, forgiving ourselves can be difficult. Not only are we subject to the judgment of others, but we are inclined to judge ourselves even more severely. Colossians 2:13-14 reminds us that God “forgave all our sins. He canceled the debt.  He took away that record with its rules and nailed it to the cross“. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Release any guilt and forgive ourselves. Guilt is a hindrance that serves as a barrier to the promises of God. If we do not believe that we are worthy of our call, how can we carry it out with boldness and authority? Jesus has expunged every negative record (Romans 8:38-39).

Jesus declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30, NIV).Everything has been nailed to the cross.

Our prayer: Lord, I thank You that Your blood, grace, and mercy are sufficient for every mistake.  Give me the courage to release my guilt. I will enter in the highest level of confidence, and the unhesitating assurance that I am worthy of my call because Jesus has qualified me.  In Jesus name, Amen.
