Health is a matter of choice!
3 John 1:2 reads, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth!”
If the Word of God tells us that God wishes for us to prosper even in our health, How then can we say that this is God’s will for us? Some that I have talked to has said that God governs everything in their life, including sickness and that this is totally in God’s hands. I personally do not agree with this. In Deuteronomy 30:1-5, God told the Israelites that they had a choice concerning their futures. The same way God gave the Israelites a choice back then, is the same way that he is giving us an opportunity to decide our future whether we will live in health or in sickness.
I have to come to learn that life is full of choices. Psalms 139:14 says that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are thy works; and that thy soul knoweth right well. God even gave instructions in the beginning of time but man chose to disobey the instructions found in Genesis 1:29 and because of this disobedience, man suffered horrible consequences. The enemy’s plan is to kill, steal and to destroy. If he can attack in the body, he thinks that this will stop the plans of God to effectively serve. After being sick myself, I finally made the decision to change from the SAD diet (Standard American Diet or aka satan’s alternative diet) to the renewed mind diet.
It is my prayer that you will choose life and health. The choice is yours!
